2. Berm
   A "Berm" is a mound, pile, hill or bank constructed of soil, rock, or a combination of earth materials and other suitable building material exceeding three (3) feet in height as measured from the pre-construction grade, usually constructed for the purpose of noise mitigation, privacy, surface drainage control or as a landscaping amenity. If you are not sure if your project is a Berm requiring a building permit, call the Community Development Department at 303-783-2721.
4. Applying Online

   To apply for this type of permit, you will need to provide the following items:

   1. Completed General Permit Application
   2. Scaled site plan based on an accurate survey showing: property boundaries and easements; Berm location, footprint of primary residence, road edge; USGS elevation contours
   3. Site plans should also include the following, if applicable: 50-foot clear site triangle; Special Flood Hazard Areas located on property; road edge (if adjacent to road)

   Xpress Bill Pay - Plan Review Payment

   A minimum plan review fee of $390 is required for all Berms. Payment is accepted via Xpress Bill Pay. Once your payment has been processed, enter your name and the Transaction Number of your payment in the fields below.
