How to Request a Police Report
If you would like a copy of a police report (or traffic accident report), please visit the department during office hours. You will need to bring your photo ID and the case report number to obtain a copy of the report. At the police department you will have to complete the records request form, which you can also download and complete prior to coming to the police department; however, the name on the records request form must match the name on your photo ID.

To request an online copy of an accident report, visit Lexis Nexis Reports.
Please note that traffic accident reports do not include telephone numbers for the insurance companies. The traffic accident report only includes the name of the insurance company, the policy number, and the policy expiration date.

There is a small fee for each report requested. Please reference the fee schedule on the second page of the records request form.
