CITY OF CHERRY HILLS VILLAGE

TREE PLANTING PROGRAM
 

The City of Cherry Hills Village Parks Division would like to inform residents of its fourth annual Tree Planting Program.  The program is for Cherry Hills Village residents, and is intended to encourage new tree plantings throughout the City and promote the diversity of trees, as well as water conservation.  All funds received through this program will be placed in the City’s Open Space Fund.  This program is open to all property owners in the City.

The City will offer trees at a reduced cost with 9 varieties to choose from.  The cost of trees will range from $50.00-$60.00 each. The trees will be approximately 5 to 6 feet tall.  The following trees will be available in 2017:

  •           ***SOLD OUT*** APC Redbud ***SOLD OUT*** - $60.00 per (*APC: Tree grown in a patented container where air prunes the roots fostering a dense fibrous root system)
  •           BR Redmond American Linden - $55.00 per (BR: “bare root”)
  •           ***SOLD OUT*** APC Hedge Maple ***SOLD OUT*** - $60.00 per (*APC: Tree grown in a patented container where air prunes the roots fostering a dense fibrous root system)
  •           B&B State Street Maple - $50.00 per (BB: “ball and burlap”)
  •           ***SOLD OUT*** APC Shumard Oak ***SOLD OUT*** - $60.00 (*APC: Tree grown in a patented container where air prunes the roots fostering a dense fibrous root system)
  •           ***SOLD OUT*** APC Turkish Filbert ***SOLD OUT*** - $60.00 (*APC: Tree grown in a patented container where air prunes the roots fostering a dense fibrous root system)
  •           ***SOLD OUT*** B&B Kentucky Coffeetree ***SOLD OUT*** - $50.00 per (BB: “ball and burlap”)
  •           B&B Gamble Oak - $50.00 (*Can be used as either a shrub or small tree)
  •           ***SOLD OUT*** APC Chanticleer Pear ***SOLD OUT*** - $60.00 (*APC: Tree grown in a patented container where air prunes the roots fostering a dense fibrous root system)

A total of 35 trees will be available to residents in 2017.  Trees will be limited to 2 per household and will be reserved on a first-come, first-served basis.
