Police Department Service Modifications

Beginning March 19, 2020 the Cherry Hills Village Police Department will modify our response to non-emergency calls for service. The Cherry Hills Village Police Department will implement a modified report-taking process to limit the amount of one-to-one interaction officers have with the public. The Cherry Hills Village Police Department is taking these measures in an abundance of caution for your safety as well as the safety of our officers. Police officers frequently are in contact with many citizens, and we want to minimize the potential of our daily interactions from causing unnecessary risk to the public and officers.

Officers will begin taking some reports and statements for non-emergency calls by phone instead of dispatching officers to gather information in person. Officers will still respond in person to high priority, emergency incidents. The Cherry Hills Village Police Department encourages our residents to call 911 to report an emergency or 303-795-4711 to report a non-emergency situation.
