  • Christmas Tree Recycling

    Drop off your Christmas trees to be recycled from December 26th through January 16th at John Meade Park. Trees will be turned into mulch for use by the Parks Department. For information about picking up mulch contact Parks, Trails and Recreation Administrator Ryan Berninzoni at 303-783-2733.

  • Holiday Toy Drive

    The City is participating in a toy drive hosted by Volunteers of America. Please donate unwrapped new or lightly used toys at the collection bin located in the lobby of the Joint Public Safety Facility. The last day for donations is December 19th.

Message From the Mayor

On behalf of the City Council and the Staff of the City of Cherry Hills Village, I would like to welcome you personally to the Village’s official website. Whether you are a Villager or a "virtual visitor” to the Village, I am pleased you found our home on the web and hope that you take some time to explore all of the services and information this site provides.

 

Incorporated as a statutory town in 1945 and established as a home rule city in 1966, Cherry Hills Village comprises 6.5 square miles in Arapahoe County and is an integral part of the south Denver metropolitan region. Our Village boasts a unique history that has made the community one of the premier low-density communities in the western United States. We pride ourselves on our sense of community, our quality of life, and our comprehensive system of parks and trails in a unique semi-rural environment situated in the midst of a thriving cosmopolitan area.

 

The Cherry Hills Village City Council is committed to developing the most effective and efficient means of delivering services and programs to all of our citizens. Through a concerted dedication to continuous quality improvement, we ensure that our police department, public works and all our Village officials and employees are responsive to our residents, businesses, churches, clubs, schools and customers. We sincerely believe that Cherry Hills Village is quite simply the best place to live and raise a family in the entire Denver region.
